A years in the life of Queen

Em Queen - A Night At The Music Hall (2CD)(1976)

Queen - A Night At The Music Hall (2CD)(1976) - Freddie Mercury e companhia mostram a pegada rock and roll que bandas até hoje tentam copiar mas passam longe disso.
Coloque o volume no dez, apague as luzes e boa viagem!

Para quem sentir muita saudade mesmo destes idos tempos, vale a pena conferir também a coletânea Queen Greatest Hits I II And III The Platinum Collection, cd duplo.

Back

Notes: I had to share this fabulous. From a tape recorded by Dan Lampinski and recently shared at Dime by Carl Morstadt  I just made it run at the right speed as it was too fast. Download this, I guarantee you´ll love it - unless you hate Queen, in which case, why are you reading this?
The sound quality is phenomenal for a 1976 audience recording rich bass, clear treble, stereo separation and all and it´s a heck of a gig. Everybody´s on top of their game. I made some artwork as well.

Queen Greatest Hits I II And III The Platinum Collection

Front

What once seemed Queen's greatest liabilities--a preening flamboyance and pompous, overwrought theatricality--have ironically become their most enduring charms in a grey, postmodern pop-music landscape. While it eschews the glammy, pre-punk hard rock of live faves such as "Stone Cold Crazy" and "Tie Your Mother Down" for the band's more quirky club-beat string of latter-day hits , this 51-track triple-CD  anthology goes a long way toward documenting the true dimensions of the band's music and fame. It even includes some solo work by Brian May and Freddie Mercury, whose duet on "Barcelona" with diva Montserrat Caballé transcends boundaries of both time and genre. A previously unreleased live performance of "The Show Must Go On" featuring Elton John on vocals is also included. --Jerry McCulley
